Over on the WoW subreddit from Weiweismart's blog

I am not exactly sure when the event is working as intended. The auction house, vendors, and even the Classic wow gold bank are all unusable--that might be frustrating for gamers who, when the event is actually live, are only trying to go about their day to day business.

Over on the WoW subreddit, players have also found ways to attract the zombie infestation outside capital cities, making entire regions of Azeroth uninhabitable.

Fortunately, WoW game developer Jeremy Feasel confirmed the zombie invasion part of the event will only be active for a couple of hours throughout the day instead of all the time. I am actually a bit disappointed with that, frankly, because I think it'd be fun to find an all-out, 24/7 invasion which players have to try and contain--something similar to World of Warcraft's notorious Corrupted Blood event.

Players can also venture to the arctic wastes of Northrend to battle bosses and make strong loot, and there's also a new story quest to try .

Otherwise, you can wait until the event inevitably starts sometime in the forthcoming months.

Since publishing our initial story, YouTuber and Reddit user'KokushiGG' has published a brand new video showing off Ray Traced Shadows in the new zones at the growth. You'll find down the video below. Like yesterday's screenshots, we may see the difference in Shadows is rather minimal with the new feature enabled. Allowing Ray Traced Shadows, however, will appear to greatly impact performance with FPS dropping from 120FPS to 60FPS in some instances.

Ray Traced Shadows in World of Warcraft Shadowlands have been allowed on the match's Beta/PTR, and also the very first comparison shots have surfaced on the internet.

Back in April of the year, Blizzard additional Ray Traced Shadow alternatives to the game's Alpha. Unfortunately, actual Ray Traced Shadows were not enabled just yet and those from the Alpha were only able to observe the new choices. According to the option's description, it"improves shadow quality with beam design, which generates shadows with more natural softness, substantially increased precision, and out of additional light sources"

Players in the alpha Could select among the following Ray Traced Shadows choices:

Fast forward four weeks and we could now finally see the way the new shadows look in the forthcoming Shadowlands expansion. Before this week we already reported the new NVIDIA Game Ready Driver added support for the brand new feature in Shadowlands, and buy wow gold classic several Beta/PTR players have now shared several screenshots comparing Shadowlands together and with no Ray Traced Shadows enabled.
