NBA 2K21 feels very much like The Flu Sport from Kingang's blog

First, let us lace up our Nikes and head to the court. The NBA 2K MT series has always been a half step ahead of FIFA (along with a few ahead of Madden) in terms of sports simulation. After tightening up defense last year, taking home the crown as the best sports sim on the market ought to have been a simple alley-oop for NBA 2K21. It seems as though they have missed the dunk but put in the rally. The departure, running, and defensive function is as cle and as quick as it was last year, but this improvement has brought in stick shooting along with the usual button play, in addition to changing the way the shooting meter both looks and works.

With this change comes a new dribbling system, which definitely provides greater control and feels more fluid. However, if you have tried shooting in the demonstration or on the launch day of Buy 2K21 MT, you'll know they have massively overcooked the difficulty. Dame Lillard was overlooking open jump shots when the goal was yellowish; in 2K's aiming system, yellow means'quite close but not ideal. It's been patched since then, and shooting is far more natural. The rod still requires getting used to, but the punishment for obtaining yellows is not too severe unless you are boxed out, maybe not in a hot zone, or employing a player with bad shooting stats.
